Campaigns & Programs
Direct programs and grassroots campaigns bringing breast cancer screening, education, and support to women in the communities we serve.

In recognition of International Women's Day, we hosted an educational event at the University of Abomey-Calavi combining discussions on breast health awareness with conversations about women's rights. The session brought together students and advocates to explore how health equity and gender equity are connected — and how young women can become informed advocates for their own bodies and communities.

Our flagship international campaign brought free breast cancer screenings to women in underserved communities across Togo. Through partnerships with local clinics and health workers, 36 women received clinical exams, imaging, and follow-up care, many for the first time in their lives.

In recognition of World Cancer Day, we held a workshop training young leaders, specifically high school girls, to become trusted voices for breast health in their schools and communities. The event combined awareness education, practical activities, and a certificate award for this new generation of advocates.

Held in Togo, this workshop-style event brought together more than 40 community members to learn about breast cancer prevention. We convened an expert panel featuring a doctor, a community worker, and an imaging specialist, distributed more than 40 breast self-exam kits, and offered free clinical breast exams on site to more than 20 women. During the event, two young women were officially selected as ambassadors to represent the Foundation and carry the mission of education and awareness into their communities.

In partnership with a local grassroots non-profit, we hosted an awareness event in Togo that brought the community together through education, exercise, games, and fun activities. Attendees had the chance to win breast self-exam kits while learning the basics of prevention and early detection, leaving with both knowledge and tools to share with their families.
Conferences & Representation
Summits, congresses, and partner events where ASL Pink Foundation represents our communities in conversations shaping policy, research, and access to care.

ASL Pink Foundation joined CISFA 2026, the Congrès International sur la Santé des Femmes Africaines, held at the Palais des Congrès in Cotonou, Benin. The congress gathered health professionals, advocates, and organizations from across Africa and the diaspora to advance the health and rights of African women. We joined conversations on cancer prevention, women's health equity, and the role of community-led organizations in shaping better outcomes for women across the continent.

ASL Pink took part in the National Breast Cancer Coalition's 2025 Advocate Leadership Summit in Washington, DC. From May 3 to 6, we joined advocates from across the country for days of training, networking, and Lobby Day on Capitol Hill — taking part in conversations that shape policy, research, and access to care, and bringing our mission and the voices of the communities we serve to the national stage.
Why Our Work Matters
Each campaign expands our footprint to communities that have historically had no access to breast cancer education or care.
Events turn quiet conversations into public ones, using media, schools, and community spaces to spread accurate information.
We work alongside local clinics, schools, and leaders, strengthening the systems that continue caring for women long after we leave.
Every screening, every kit distributed, every woman referred to care is a potential life saved through early detection.
